We understand you may have a lot of questions, so we have made a list of the most common ones. If you have any further questions that were not answered here, please contact us at (778) 689-5299 or pacific.coast.camper@gmail.com.
Pick up and Drop Off location is 1105 Sluggett Road, Brentwood Bay, BC.
PICK UP is by appointment only.
*We do offer the night before pickup if the boler is available, that way you can leave whenever you want the next day. We will contact you 24hr before your pickup to arrange a pick-up time. If you want a GUARANTEED night before pickup, you need to book the night*
DROP OFF is by 6 pm. There is a 30 min grace period. This is very important to note as we will charge a $100 late fee after the 30 min grace period. We need to get the trailer ready for the next pickup.
If you require special arrangements, please contact us.
Frank the Boler: Yes! If your car has a hitch and wiring, your car can tow it! Frank the Boler weight around ~1200 lbs. Honda civics and mini suvs pull these every weekend! If you have never pulled a trailer before, do not be afraid, these are very easy to drive with!
Big Bea the Boler: It depends...
You will need either a 1 7/8 inch hitch ball OR 2-inch hitch ball. Check the listing to see what each Boler requires. You will also need either 4-pin wiring OR 7-pin wiring, check the listing to see what each Boler requires. We will show you how to exactly load and unload the trailer, which is super easy!
We understand that things come up and plans change which is why we have a very flexible return policy as follows:
- Free cancellation for 48 hours after booking
- Cancel 14 days before pickup date = 100% refund (minus a 3% transaction fee)
- Cancel less than 14 days before pickup date = 50% refund (minus a 3% transaction fee)
The vehicle you are towing the trailer with MUST be insured. Each trailer is insured and in the case of damages, you would pay the damages or pay the $500 deductible.
Upon pickup you will be greeted by a fellow Bolorite. He or she will give you a tour of the boler and show you how everything works. They will then assist you and show you how to hitch the trailer to your vehicle and unhitch it. You will also sign a rental agreement and provide the $500 deposit. This deposit will be fully refunded to you once the trailer is returned in the same condition.
For long weekends, you must book the entire long weekend. For example, if the holiday falls on Monday, you would need to book 3 nights from Friday to Monday.
Yes, but, all pet hair must be cleaned off all cushions. If we need to clean the pet hair upon return inspection we will hold a $100 charge to clean and wash the cushions. We find that a lint roller works great to get it off or protect the cushion where your pet will sit to minimize hair left on cushions.
Things you might need that aren't included are:
Underwear
This is your responsibility to know what kind of electrical and water hook-up your campsite offers. To connect power to the Boler, you need a regular 120V extension cord. To connect water, you need a regular garden hose.
*Depending on the campsite booked, you may need adapters*
